Face to Face at Sundown
The sun hangs low and gold over the tarmac as two uniformed figures step into a painted circle to face each other.
Behind them, rows of soldiers stand shoulder to shoulder, watching in silence, their long shadows stretching across the concrete.
On one side stands Specialist Carry, shoulders loose and confident. Opposite him stands Staff Sergeant Grey, dark hair pulled tight, her expression unreadable. Every eye on the field is locked on the space between them.

The Kick That Didn't Land
Carry moves first, clenching a bright blue mouthguard between his teeth as he launches a sharp, high kick meant to finish the exchange in a single second.
The camera pushes in tight on his face, eyes widening as the moment unfolds.
Grey does not dodge. She catches his boot with both hands — clean, firm and seemingly effortless. The impact cracks across the formation, leaving onlookers stunned, mouths open in disbelief as Carry freezes, still caught in her grip.
Calm in a Low Stance
Grey holds the kick for a heartbeat longer, then releases him and slides into a low, balanced fighting stance.

In a separate shot she is seen in a crisp white service uniform on a dirt training ground, palms open, knees bent, calm and fully ready.
Carry resets with fists up, breathing harder now, the confidence of seconds earlier replaced by shock. At the edge of the group, an older officer watches without blinking, his jaw tight — this was not the demonstration he had ordered.
As Grey's gaze flicks once toward him, the next strike is already coming, and no one knows who will still be standing when it lands.
