Trouble at the Glass Door

The video opens inside a bright, modern American coffee shop, all warm pendant lights and tall windows looking out on the street.

A bald man with a beard, bruises on his face and tattoos on his arms, wearing a white t-shirt under a black leather vest, pushes through the glass entrance clutching his side.

He can barely stay on his feet. He leans hard against the door frame and then sinks down by the window, one hand pressed to his ribs, his face etched with pain.

It is the middle of a workday, with coffee equipment and cups visible just feet away.

"Don't Get Involved! We're Busy!"

Before anyone can react, the manager strides over from the counter. A man in his 40s in a light blue dress shirt and black trousers, he points directly at the young waitress watching nearby and shouts, "Don't get involved! We're busy!"

The waitress, in a white shirt and black apron with her hair in a high bun and a coffee carafe in her hand, freezes.

A Manager Walks Away

In the next moment, the manager mutters, "Something isn't right," and turns his back on both of them. The camera catches him walking away down the cafe aisle, shoulders tense, leaving the injured man alone by the door.

The final still lingers on the waitress. Her eyes are wide with shock and concern as she grips the coffee pot, staring out as if deciding what to do next while her manager disappears into the back of the shop.
